Pepper minced sweet

Paprika was brought to Europe from South America by the Spaniards in the 15th century, where it later spread to Africa, Turkey and Hungary. The first written records on paprika are from 1593 and they mention paprika as the spice of the poor.

Dried and ground paprika is an excellent spice and has a high nutritional value. It has
healing properties since it contains high quantities of Vitamin C. It is used to prepare
soups, various stews, fish and meat dishes and cream based sauces.
