Chicken stew

Preparation of chicken stew


  • 1 chicken
  • 10 dag of fat or oil
  • 10 dag of carrots
  • 1 larger potato
  • 1 teaspoon of Šafram ground sweet paprika
  • Šafram ground black pepper
  • parsley
  • salt
  • water



  • Cook the onion in the fat or oil, add the sliced carrots, a little water and simmer for a few minutes.
  • Add the Šafram ground sweet paprika and the chicken, previously chopped into small pieces, cover with a lid and leave to simmer for about 20 minutes.
  • Add diced potato, salt, pepper and parsley to the softened meat.
  • Add a little bit more water and cook for another 20 minutes.
